Warranty Policy for Particula Products
Thank you for purchasing a Particula product!
This policy applies solely to the hardware components of the following products (not including any accessories) purchased by you from Particula through its direct online sales channels (including Amazon, Kickstarter, Indiegogo), or through one of our certified distributors: GoChess product line, GoCube product line, GoDice (Full Pack and Family Pack), GoBalance product line, and Rubik’s Connected Pro (collectively, the “Products”).
One Year Limited Warranty
Particula warrants that the hardware components of the products shall be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of retail purchase directly from us or through our certified resellers (“Warranty Period”). Particula Ltd. shall be released from all obligations under this warranty policy in the event the product(s) have been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation.
Under this warranty, if a hardware defect arises and a valid claim (as determined by us after inspecting the product) is received by Particula Ltd. within the Warranty Period, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, we will either:
- Repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts
- Exchange the product with a new or refurbished product
- Refund the original purchaser, subject to receipt of proof of purchase. These shall be your sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty policy
Any repair or replacement of a product will be subject to the original Warranty Period (i.e., one year from the date of purchase directly from us or through our certified resellers). You, the customer, shall bear all shipping costs associated with the delivery of the defective product to an address specified by us (as per our instructions, based on each case and the relevant territory) and any tax-related costs. We will cover the shipping costs of the repaired product back to your shipping address, provided that any tax-related costs will be borne by you.
When a product or any part thereof is being replaced, the replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item delivered to us becomes our property.
Instructions to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the product, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to the address specified by us.
Subject to applicable law, we may require that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with our internal warranty procedures before receiving warranty service.

Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty covers the normal and intended use of our products. It applies only to the hardware components of our relevant products, which were manufactured by or for Particula Ltd. (including any affiliate thereof). The warranty provided by us does not apply to any other products than those specified in this policy (including any non-Particula products, or any software components).
We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or provided error-free. We are not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to normal and intended use of the products.
What is Not Covered
- Accessories: Chess pieces, piece bags, carry bags, phone stands, and charging cables are not covered by the warranty.
- Particula shall not be liable for costs, damages, or damages to Mechanical, aesthetic, or functional of the product, incurred as a result of, due to, or from:
- Careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse, and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the respective User Guides.
- Use of the machine other than for normal purposes.
- Use of parts and accessories other than those produced or recommended by Particula.
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, or protective coatings designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
- Damage caused by use with non-Particula Ltd. products.
- Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the relevant product.
If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and let you know if repair services are available at cost or otherwise. Repair or service performed by any party other than Particula will void the warranty.
Extended Warranty Service
For those desiring an extra layer of protection, Particula offers the opportunity to purchase an Extended Warranty service alongside your product. This service extends the standard 1-year warranty by an additional year, providing coverage under the same conditions as the general one year warranty.
If the warranty has expired, the Company will repair/offer for purchase any broken/defective parts of a product using new or replacement parts. After examining your product, our technician will confirm the total cost for repair along with the service charges. The customer will bear the shipping costs of sending and receiving the replacement parts.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED AND DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND NO WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE GIVEN BY ANY THIRD PARTY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT(S) SHALL BIND PARTICULA LTD.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARTICULA LTD. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, FAILURE TO REALIZE SAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REPUTATION, LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT(S), OR ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF PARTICULA LTD. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR SHALL OUR LIABILITY, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU (THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER) FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM US OR, TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE, THROUGH OUR CERTIFIED RESELLERS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT, IT IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND STATES YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the term of an implied warranty, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
